Dear Friends and loved ones,
I pray you are well and your family had a blessed weekend.
Last weekend, The Lord had been gracious to Mike and me (overcame all the odds) and granted us the gift to attend a 3-day retreat at the Vincentian retreat centre, for “ The Pentecost Experience.” Fr Varghese, the director of the retreat lead us to a powerful 3 days of praise and worship, preached and helped us meditate on the Word of the Holy Spirit and led us into reconciliation and repentance to experience a new Pentecost in our hearts. The gifts of the Holy Spirit fell upon us and we experienced so much joy, spoke in tongues and prayed in the spirit. Then the miracle of spiritual healing followed and sensed my physical restoration has started to take me back into His wholeness once again. God was present, face to face in Adoration and spiritual renewal, the Holy Spirit moved me and empowered me not to be afraid and trust Him alone. “Do not be afraid for I am with you.” Isaiah 41:10
After 9 years of serving the Lord through Buckets for Jesus’ ministry for the poorest of the poor while facing some health challenges, I begun to ask The Lord if these were His signs to hang the towel and let go. However, through the Holy Spirit, He clearly revealed His will and inspired me and Mike all the more to keep going for this is His Will. After 24 BFJ missions, 24 Containers for a Jesus, 30,000 Schoolbags for Jesus, 50,000 Bibles and Rosaries planted into the slums dwellers, the Lord has just begun the work He wants to be accomplished. Many of the retreatants were also inspired to hear of BFJ work for the Lord after Fr Varghese asked me to share about our ministry. Indeed, “Our labour in Christ will not be in vain.” 1 Cor 15:49-58
Thank you dear brother and sisters for praying for me and for journeying by faith in moving mountains for the least among us. Your prayers and support inspires me to keep going and I prayed for all of you at the retreat, for your wellbeing, healing and blessings. Please forgive me if I have been too demanding in the past and seems ungrateful. But God is watching and your reward awaits you in eternity. Your dedication and perseverance gives me strength amidst the storms and I deeply believe with great conviction that together, God will use all of us to do more miracles as His channel of mercy and hope for the least among us.
In Isaiah 6:2-8 The Lord ask, “Whom shall I send.” Pray that our answer will be that same as Isaiah’s “Here I am Lord, Send me!”
In His Amazing Grace,
Ruby
